Today, Richard Lamontagne, still active as President and CEO of the company, shares his experience with both his son and daughter. Danny Lamontagne is General manager and Tina Lamontagne is Vice-President, Business Development.

Chocolat Lamontagne is proud to announce that Tina and Danny Lamontagne have assumed full control over the company and its facilities, succeeding Richard Lamontagne, who founded the company in 1978. For him, carrying on the family legacy is the realization of a dream.. This transition marks an exciting and promising stage in the expansion of the Sherbrooke based business.

An investment of more than $ 4 million will allow Lamontagne Chocolate to acquire cutting-edge equipment, the best on the market. Even more coated confections of all imaginable flavours and colours are added to the myriad of Lamontagne products. Once again, the company reiterates its leadership position within the industry by enhancing its capacity to produce a variety of high-quality products.

Danny Lamontagne, new general manager!

2020

After more than 15 years of involvement in the family business in various departments, in August 2020, Danny Lamontagne will assume his new role as General Manager of the company.

Always investing to support rapid growth, Chocolat Lamontagne expands its facility by adding an extra 20,000 sq feet. In addition to Canada and the United States, the brand can also now be found in Mexico, Europe and Asia.

Acquisition of Chocolat Jean et Charles

1996

The acquisition of Chocolat Jean et Charles, originally located in Montreal, will allow Chocolat Lamontagne to become a chocolate manufacturer. The equipment is moved to Sherbrooke and promptly put into operation.
